Use
G/L account to which realized exchange rate losses are to be posted (automatically).
Realized exchange rate losses can arise when line items in a foreign currency are cleared. The loss arises when the conversion rate to the local currency has worsened between the time the open item was posted and the time it was eventually cleared.
If other parallel currencies are managed in addition to the local currency, exchange rate gains can arise in these currencies.
