Definition

Identifies the time at which a posting data transfer run was interrupted.

Use

This ensures that a restart-ID is re-created by the system with every posting data transfer run.
If the run is completed successfully, the data transferred is released. If the run was interrupted, the data is saved with other information until the restart run is carried out.

Procedure

Example

If the posting data transfer run ends prematurely, e.g. because of a program termination, not all of the transfer documents from the file of the insurance legacy system will be transferred. Once the program is restarted, the run will be continued from the exact time identified by the restart-ID.
