Definition
This field contains the rule type which more closely defines the operations. If no rule type is specified, the operations are processed sequentially.
The following rule types are permissible:
- Rule type D indicates that a decision operation, which more closely specifies the variable key, follows.
- Rule type S is similar to rule type D, i.e. a decision operation follows. However, the result is not moved to the variable key but to table ES (for payroll rules) and table VS (for time evaluation rules).
- Rule type P indicates an operation which initiates a personnel calculation rule. After the personnel calculation rule has been completed, processing continues with the next operation in the line.
- Rule type Z, like rule type P, indicates an operation which initiates a personnel calculation rule. However, processing does not continue with the next operation. These are jump operations.
- Rule type * indicates that this is a comment line and is not processed.
