Definition
Typical length of a period for system measurement of an application.
In some applications, the number of objects is measured within a specific time period (for example, the number of patients treated per year). The measurement program queries the application for the number of objects by calling a function module from the application. The measurement program passes one or more time periods for object measurement to the function module. The time periods do not have to be the same length and they can overlap.
In other applications, the absolute number of objects is measured and not the number of objects within a certain period. In this case, no period is specified and a field of type RSUVM_PTYP has the value SPACE.
