Description

In the generation tool, a program class represents a specific application object type. The instances of a program class are generated programs that in turn correspond to individual application objects (the instances of the application object type) and are managed in the table RSSGTPDIR. The connection between a generated program and the application object is made using a GUID. You can create and edit program classes uing the transaction RSSG_PCLA. From basis release 6.10 an object catalog entry also belongs to a program class (R3TR PCLA <Name of Program Class>).
