Definition
You use the partition size to specify after which number of records a new partition is created for the PSA table. For a SAP HANA database, this value is set to 20,000,000 for write-optimized DataStore objects, otherwise to 5,000,000. For all other databases, it is set to 1,000,000.
Only data records from a complete request are stored in a partition. The value entered here is therefore a threshold value.
This setting applies to DataSources from all source systems.
Use
Dependencies
You can increase the partition size but cannnot decrease it. If you specify a smaller value than the default value, the default is still applied.
