Definition
An InfoSource is a grouped quantity of logically related information for a unit. InfoSources can either encompass transaction data or master data (attributes, texts and hierarchies). An InfoSource is always a quantity of InfoObjects. An InfoSource always refers to a scenario from an application (for example, Financial Accounting).
