Definition
This field contains the extractor for an DataSource. If the DataSource is a generic DataSource (extraction method = 'V'), this field remains empty. An extractor is a function module that gets the data requested by the InfoSource from R/3 and transfers it to the service API. Only special function modules delivered by SAP can be used as extractors. If, as a customer, you want to create an InfoSource, you use the generic table extractor (extraction type V) to do this.
