Definition

You can choose the following options when selecting filter values for executing queries:

  • M mode: Values in master data table:

    All available master data values are read to the master data tables (P table, Q table).

  • Q mode: Only posted values for navigation:

    Only those values that are part of the query results are read.

  • D mode: Only InfoProvider values

    Only the values of the characteristics that are updated in the InfoCube dimensions or in the DataStore object are read. This mode is valid for InfoCubes and DataStore objects and for MultiProviders that only consist of InfoCubes and/or DataStore objects. Characteristics that are modeled as Line Item Dimension are an exception. Mode D is not supported here.

If you select M or Q mode, you might get the message "No data found" when you select filter values.
