Definition

In maintenance for a HybridProvider that always consists of one DataStore object and one InfoCube, there are two additional folders in which you can include InfoObjects.

These folders have the following properties:

  • Folder "Contained in DataStore Only" in view (InfoCube):
    • In principle, the InfoCube of the HybridProvider can be seen as an aggregate of the DataStore. As such, it can contain all of the InfoObjects in the DataStore or some of the InfoObjects of the DataStore.
    • This folder serves to identify those InfoObjects that should only be contained in the DataStore.
  • Folder "Not Assigned" in view (DataStore):
    • This is a temporary folder. If you include new InfoObjects in the HybridProvider in the view (InfoCube), it is not clear whether these InfoObjects should be included in the key part or data part of the DataStore. For this reason, the system transfers them to this special folder.
    • Before you activate the HybridProvider, you have to assign these InfoObjects correctly in the view (DataStore); the #not assigned# folder must be completely empty.

Use

Include InfoObjects that should not be contained in the InfoCube in the #In DataStore Only# folder.

Assign the InfoObjects in the temporary #Not Assigned# folder to the key or data part of the DataStore.
