Documentation
Definition
If this field is selected, the system reorganizes the Q Table for the basic characteristic. The Q Table contains the time-dependent attributes of the characteristic.
The Q Table contains active A records as well as inactive M records that contain changed attribute values. When reorganizing the Q Table, the system firstly looks for M records that have identical time intervals and received attribute values as their associate A records.
These M records contain redundant information and for this reason are deleted from the Q Table.
Secondly, the system searches the Q Table for adjacent time intervals that have identical received attribute values. These intervals are combined to form larger intervals. In this way, the system reduces the number of records in the Q Table.
