Definition
With DataSources for master data attributes and texts, you can specify whether the extractor transfers more than one data record in a request for a value of time-independent master data.
If you set this indicator to true (= X), the DataSource can return duplicate data records.
With the InfoPackage settings in BW, the indicator is only true if the DataSource transfers duplicate data records, the DataSource fills all key fields of the characteristic with data and you have either time-independent texts or time-independent master data attributes only.
In this case, the duplicate data records are handled as follows in BW by default: The most recent data record referring to a value in the request is updated to BW. The remaining data records for this value are ignored. You make this setting in the InfoPackage.
