Definition
There are domains with the same semantics, such as cost element and G/L account number (domains KSTAR and SAKNR) or two and three character period fields (domains PERDE and PERDE2). These can be declared as equivalent.
The same value domains are only used for the conversion, if the conversion of the actual data elements and domains did not work.
If the sender field catalog contains a field with the domain FRDOM (TODOM) that has not yet been converted and the receiver field contains a field with the domain TODOM (FRDOM) that has not yet been converted, these are declared as equivalent and converted according to the domain attributes. For example, a two character period field is converted to a three character field.
