Definition
You specify here for each user group the conditions the traveler should comply with when choosing a flight provider or a flight class. The conditions apply for flight requests for which the departure and return flights are to be chosen together.
If the respective flights are available so that the strategy specified here can be complied with, a message appears in Travel Planning dialog reminding the traveler of the relevant rule. If he/she does not comply with the rule, a reason for this choice must be entered.
The following settings for the round trip selection strategy are possible:
- Neutral
There are no special conditions imposed on flight selection. - Same provider for departure and return flights
The same airline should be chosen for both departure and return flights. - Same operating airline
The same operating airline should be chosen for both departure and return flights. That is, no flights should be selected via code sharing . In other words, the operating and providing airlines should be the same airline. - Same cabin class
The same cabin class should be chosen for both departure and return flights. - Same provider and cabin
For departure and return flights, both the provider (code sharing possible) and the flight cabin class should be the same. - Same operating airline and cabin
For departure and return flights the same operating airline (code sharing not possible) and the same flight cabin class should be chosen.
Flights with code sharing can be recognized in the results list of available flights by the fact that the operating airline is listed first and an additional airline is listed after it in parentheses.
