Documentation
Definition
If this indicator is set, quantities are also summarized in a cost center summarization processing run.
The largest quantity unit occurring in a cost element control segment is always used (combination of cost center, activity type, fiscal year, cost element, and origin; see table COKA).
Example:
Area cost center
B
!
-------------
! !
E1(500kg) E2(1 ton)
In summarization of the amounts in end cost centers E1 and E2 to summarization cost center B, B would identify the quantity as 1.5 tons (= conversion to the largest quantity unit).
If unconverted units appear within a cost element segment, all quantity amounts within the cost element control segment are set to 0. In this case, the message log will register the appropriate error message.
Note
You should set this indicator only if you actually wish to evaluate quantities, as this transaction results in long processing times in the SAP System.
