This is relevant when this DataSource is to be defined as an append DataSource (Type 'APPE').
This field contains the name of a standard DataSource to which this append DataSource is referenced. (The standard DataSource should exist in the system)
Meaning in connection with 12B master data:
This field allows you to work in the extractor with a name different from that of the DataSource. This is valid for 1.2B master data extractors. When you convert from a 12B to 20, several DataSources result from one basic characteristic, identified by a suffix added to their names. As a result, the extractor may not recognize the new name of a DataSource.
