Definition

You have the following options for copying a trial using a template:

• You copy the template recipe. The new recipe is then assigned to the new trial.
• You copy the reference to the recipe. The template recipe is then assigned to the new trial.
• You do not copy a recipe or a recipe reference (if you want to create a trial without using a template or if the template does not have a recipe assignment, this is the only option).

If you do not use a template, but assign the new trial to a different trial when you create it, the system refers to the recipe of the higher-level trial.
