Definition
Specifies that the system converts the individual BOM items into the next smallest unit of measure when generating the BOM in the transformation.
Use
In the formula, you can enter values with up to six decimal places but the BOM only allows values with up to three decimal places. By setting this indicator, you can ensure that the accuracy of the values is retained when the BOM is generated because, for example, 1,234567 kg is converted into 1234,567 g.
Dependencies
The system always converts values into the next smallest unit, it does not convert values from tons into grams, for example. The smallest unit of measure into which the system converts values is the next smallest unit of measure after the base unit of measure specified in the material master for the material of the BOM item. Therefore, a conversion into even smaller units is not possible.
