Use
You can specify for each specification type that the system displays the data of a value assignment type instead of the header data when you select a specification.
Dependencies
To do this, the required value assignment type must exist in the property tree that is assigned to the specification type. If this is not the case, the system displays the header data of the specification.
Example
When you switch from a specification of specification type A to a specification of specification type B in the navigation area of the specification workbench, the system responds in the following way, depending on the situation:
- If the value assignment type set as default for specification type A also exists in the property tree of specification type B, the system displays this value assignment type, irrespective of whether another default setting exists for B.
- If the value assignment type set as default for specification type A does not exist in the property tree of specification type B, the system displays the value assignment type set as default for B. If no default setting exists for B, the system displays the header data.
If you switch from a specification of specification type A to a specification of specification type B in the hit list, the system responds as follows:
- If specification type B has a default value assignment type, the system displays it. If no default value assignment type exists for B, the system displays the value assignment type that was set as default for specification type A, provided that it exists in the property tree of specification type B. If this is not the case, the system displays the header data.
