Documentation
Definition
Has the effect that only one object is ever in change mode in the workbench, and that the system automatically switches to display mode when you open another object. If you made changes to an object before you open another object, a popup appears, asking you to decide whether you want to save these changes (save prompt).
Use
Dependencies
If you set this indicator, the system locks for other users only the object that you are currently editing in the workbench.
If you want to retain the save prompt when changing to another object, but you do not want the system to switch to display mode every time you change to another object, set the Save indicator instead of this indicator.
