Definition

If automatic posting should also use transaction types in conjunction with the selected items, you can indicate this in the respective classification key.

The meanings vary depending on the classification key:

  • BAF - In conjunction with the depreciation item entered in the field 'Sel.item', you enter the transaction type to be used for the adjustment of the investment book value during the depreciation of investments (e.g., depreciation transaction type).
  • BG - If the retained earnings item entered in the field 'Sel.item' permits a breakdown by transaction types, you should enter the transaction type to be automatically updated with retained earnings.
  • BWA - The transaction type is used for the reversal of the APC retirement on the asset item during an asset transfer.
  • BWB - The transaction type is used for the depreciation adjustment on the asset item during an asset transfer.
  • BWC - The transaction type is used for the transfer of depreciation adjustments on the asset item during an asset transfer.
  • BWD - No item is entered here; instead only the transaction type to which balances are carried forward, provided that you desire a breakdown by transaction types in the new fiscal year, and there was no such breakdown in the old year.
  • BWU - The transaction type is used for the APC transfer on the asset item during an asset transfer.
  • BWW - The transaction type is used for the reversal of depreciation adjustment retirements on the asset item during an asset transfer.f
  • BWZ - The transaction type is used for the reversal of the APC acquisition on the asset item during an asset transfer.
  • BZU - For investment write-ups, in addition to the income statement item Investment Write-Up, you enter the transaction type used for updating the investment item.
  • EQ1 - This transaction type is used for updating the offsetting entry on the investment item in conjunction with equity-method valuation. This is usually the transaction type for write-ups or depreciation, regardless of the debit/credit indicator.
  • EQ2 - analoguous with EQ1
  • EQ3 - analoguous with EQ1
  • LAB - If the tax provisions entered in the 'Sel.item' field permits a breakdown by transaction type, the TTy entered here will be automatically assigned when posting deferred taxes.
