Use

Dependencies

When you create an object, the system adds the version number automatically by incrementing the highest existing version number for the object. The version number is attached to the object key as an extension, separated by the separator that you defined in Customizing for Recipe Management in the IMG activity Versioning Settings. In this IMG activity, you also define the subobject types for which versions can be created.

Example

• The technical keys EXAMPLE.001.005 and EXAMPLE.001 refer to version 1 of the object EXAMPLE. The first technical key refers to draft 5 of version 1.
