Has the following effect:
- If you execute the mass status change in the background, the system checks the data only and writes messages to the application log. The system does not execute the mass status change.
- If you execute the mass status change on the screen, the system checks the data and displays on the screen that appears only those data records whose status can be changed. You can then start the mass change on this screen without any further checks.
You use the Background Processing indicator to specify whether the system executes the mass change in the background.
