Definition
Unit of measure, used for creating the components in the bill of material (BOM) or the unit of measure from the planned order BOM.
Purpose
You use this unit of measure to display missing the missing parts situation and for rounding up the staging quantity.
Note
The unit of entry from the BOM has no reference to the replenishment elements and is, therefore, not taken into account in the replenishment view.
Note: As soon as an element in the pull list has been staged (shown by the green checkmark), you can no longer switch to the alternative unit of measure.
