The disposal schedule controls the disposal process and consists of:

• Disposal event (defines the start date of the period)
• Disposal period (year/months)
• Disposal action (controls the type of disposal)

Use

You can assign a disposal schedule at the level of classes and folders. The schedule is inherited down the object hierarchy to documents of disposal document type Standard.

If you want to control the disposal of specific documents with your own disposal schedule, you can do this using your own disposal document type.
