Definition
Use
SAP provides 9 organizational levels for the authorization check based on the user and object (record, case, document) in Records Management.
Note that the organizational level "Registry" is treated differently by the authorization check. The system determines the assignment of a user to the registry differently to the assignment of a user to organizational objects on levels 1 to 9.
Dependencies
Before an authorization check can take place, you must assign the organizational levels of the SAP organizational structure via organizational objects defined beforehand.
Example
You only want to use three organizational levels - government agency, department and section. These three levels are included in the standard delivery.
