Definition

Use

When you set this flag, the attribute value is passed onto Children Objects, and thus:

  • Passed on with creation

    Defines the attribute as the potentially inheritable attribute. The value of the attribute is also inherited by new children objects.

  • Subsequent Inheritance

    Changes to the attribute values are updated in the children objects.

    Exception: if an attribute value is changed manually in the children objects, this will not be overwritten by further inheritances.

Dependencies

The attribute was flagged as a 'to inherit' attribute in the Customizing of the children objects.
