Definition

You can use different algorithms to select the transaction data (tables CE1nnnn, CE2nnnn, CE3nnnn, CE4nnnn, nnnn = operating concern) when creating summarization operating concerns. Any of these may give you better performance, depending on certain conditions (such as the number of summarizations, degree of summarization, or size of the tables).

• Method 1: Segment table and segment level are ready by segment number.
• Method 2: Segment table is read according to certain characteristics. For this method you need to specify two characteristics of the summarization operating concern for sorting.
• Method 3: The line items are read.
• Method 4: This method works like method 1 except it is with parallel processing. First you need to run program RKEVERT1 in mode 3 to initialize. Then you can start program RKEVERT1 several times parallel in mode 2. The individual programs communicate and divide the creation tasks.
  Note: With this method, the profitability segment numbers are not determined by internal number assignment, but rather using a hash algorithm.
