Documentation
Definition
If this indicator is set, then the indexes in the key table are deleted while the summarization levels are being rebuilt. The indexes are created again automatically once the summarization levels have been rebuilt.
If, as with the rebuild of summarization levels, many data records are added to a table, then this takes less time if no indexes are defined in a table and if the indexes are not built until the table has been filled with data.
Default
- Normal build (RKETRERU): Not activated
- Expert mode (RKETRERV): Activated
Procedure
In normal circumstances, leave the indicator for deleting indexes activated.
If the program terminates with an error message saying that an index cannot be deleted, deactivate the indicator.
