SAP RFC Logon
For SAP RFC Logon, you need to specify the SAP user, password, language, and the client of the target system.
The RFC can then be executed in the target system, as long as SAP RFC Logon is permitted as a logon procedure in the target system.
Trust Releationship (RFC Trusted Systems)
If a trust relationship has been defined for the current system in the target system, the RFC can be performed in the qarget system without the need to explicitly pass a passowrd. The Trust Relationship only applies for one direction (that is, it is not bidirectional). If you want the relationship to be bidirectional, you need to register each partner system with the other for the trust relationship
Basic Authentication
Basic Authentication is a standard HTTP method of authentication. A user ID and a password are provided for authentication during a user logon. This information is transferred to the server using the HTTP connection in a header variable as a base-64 encoded string.
Do Not Use a User
Do Not Use a User behaves in a similar way to Basic Authentication. The only difference to Basic Authentication is that the HTTP server does not require a user name and password for authentication for the logon process.
SSL Certificate
If you use an SSL certificate to logon, the authentication is performed using the SSL protocol. In this case, you need to define the certificate to be used for authentication in the Security Options area. The issuer of the SSL certificate must be registered as a Trusted System in the target system.
