Definition
Number of days by which the notice period is extended.
Use
Grace days are usually used in period regulations in which the notice date Notice for falls at the end of the month. The grace days indicate up to which day in the following month that notice can still be given and be effective.
Dependencies
If you use grace days, also complete the following fields:
- Calendar or business days indicator
- Calendar used for determining business days
Example
Example 1 for a Period Regulation
The notice period is 6 weeks for the end of the quarter.

Example 2 for a Period Reglation
In the first 5 years of the lease-out, the notice period is 3 months for the end of the month, then through year 8 the notice period is 6 months, and after that 9 months. Notice has to be received by the 3rd day of the following month (3 days grace period).
