Definition
Specifies the necessary period, in days, that has to be between the date notice is received and the notice date.
Use
The notice period is calculated by adding the entries in the months/weeks/days fields, and subtracting the grace days.

The notice period is 6 weeks for the end of the quarter.

Example 2 for a Period Reglation
In the first 5 years of the lease-out, the notice period is 3 months for the end of the month, then through year 8 the notice period is 6 months, and after that 9 months. Notice has to be received by the 3rd day of the following month (3 days grace period).
