Documentation
Definition
Quantity managed on the asset by the system.
Use
For assets created with a base unit of quantity, you can enter a quantity during posting (acquisitions/retirements). A quantity update then takes place according to the debit/credit indicator of the transaction. You can also define a quantity during creation of a master record. Note however, that the quantity specified during master record maintenance (for example "1") is added to any potential quantity entered in the acquisition posting.
