Definition
Specifies how the system handles posting of condition amounts if
- Contract start date is not at the beginning of the month
- Contract end date is not at the end of the month
Use
Contract start and end date pro rata is set:
The calculation of the amount is always prorated for the start and end of the contract.
Never pro rata is set:
The amount is always calculated for the entire period, regardless of whether or not the contract start date is the start of the period or the contract end date is the end of the period.
Only contract start pro rata is set:
The calculation of the amount is always prorated for the start of the contract. For the posting at the end of the contract, the full amount for the period is calculated.
Only contract end pro rata is set:
The calculation of the amount is always prorated for the end of the contract. For the posting at the start of the contract, the full amount for the period is calculated.
Dependencies
You specify the method for prorated calculations in the calculation method field.
