Definition
This indicator specifies how the sales-based settlement deals with a partial settlement.
A partial settlement occurs if the sales-based lease-out:
- Begins after the beginning of a settlement period, or
- Ends prior to the end of a settlement period
In the case of partial settlements, the interval of the contract settlement participation is calculated and set in ratio to the length of the settlement period (as determined by the settlement variant). A factor is determined by this ratio and the sales-based rent is then reduced using this factor.
Indicators:
- "Always pro rata"
Sales-based rent is calculated as above. - "Never pro rata (Begin and end: whole month)
The partial settlement is ignored at the beginning and end of the settlement period of the lease-out. - "Contract begin: pro rata: contract end: whole month"
The partial settlement is only ignored at the end of the month. - "Contract begin: Whole month, contract end: pro rata"
The partial settlement is only ignored at the beginning of the month.
This indicator has no influence on the minimum or maximum rent.
The indicator influences the calculation only if the "Full Period" (consider full periods) indicator is set in Customizing. Otherwise the indicator for partial settlement does not have any effects.
