Definition

Specifies if the current occupancy principle (COCP) should be used during service charge settlement (SCS).

Use

  • Indicator is set ('X')

    For rental objects where the Current Occupancy Principle indicator is set, the system settles the objects using the current occupancy principle with this settlement schema. (For exceptions, see the Dependencies.)

  • Indicator is not set (' ')

    The current occupancy principle is not used for this settlement schema, even if the Current Occupancy Principle indicator is set on the rental objects.

Dependencies

You can also set the Current Occupancy Principle indicator individually on the rental objects.

You can override this in the settlement unit in two different ways:

  • You create a posting term for COA settlement on the settlement unit. There you can decide how the rental objects are settled by your setting in the Use Current Occupancy Principle for COA Settlement field.
    For COA settlement, the owner of the condominium according to the assessment contract at the time of the settlement is the current occupant.
  • You create a posting term for tenant settlement on the settlement unit. There you can choose how the rental object is settled by your entry in the When Is COCP Used field.
