Definition
Measurement Type (Key)
It can be assigned to a measurement structure. This means that the measurement structure can only be used within objects that plan using this standard (for example, gross area applies for ANSI/BOMA objects and in Germany HNF applies for DIN objects).
A measurement type describes the area type from an architectural-topographical viewpoint, for example rentable area, heating area, window area, floor area, advertizing space or cleaning area. You can assign multiple measurement types to a space, partial space or room.
If a measurement type is not relevant for a measurement structure, it can be used for all objects (for instance, employee occupancy, cleaning area, heating area etc.).
