Definition

Specifies if (and possibly how) the surcharge is influenced by the usage type and by the existence of a given fixtures and fittings characteristic on the rental object.

Use

• ' '     Independent
  If the surcharge is imposed regardless of the rental object, then choose Independent.
  
• 1     Surcharge Is Imposed, If Not Otherwise Specified
  Choose this value if the surcharge is imposed in most cases, but there are some usage types for which you do not want to impose a surcharge.
  
• 2     Surcharge Is Imposed Only If So Specified
  Choose this value, if you only want to impose a surcharge for a few usage types. In the table where you make this setting, you can choose a fixtures and fittings characteristic in addition to a usage type. In that case, the system imposes the surcharge if the rental object possesses this fixtures and fittings characteristic. (For example, you could choose the "Publicly subsidized" characteristic to have the system charge the surcharge for apportionment loss risk.)
