To post costs to a settlement period, a cost collector must be generated for each period. When the cost collector was opened is displayed here.
Postings to this cost collector can take place from this date at the earliest.
For cost collectors for special periods, the system determines the special period from the posting date, the opened on date, and the completed by date.
