Definition

When you start a settlement, you can choose a variant of the settlement parameters. The system only offers parameters for selection if this Active indicator is set for them.

Use

You have to set the Active indicator separately for each of the following: normal service charge settlement, COA settlement (for condominium owners in the COA company code) and tenant settlement (for tenants renting condominiums).

If you need the current occupancy principle for COA settlement, but do not need it for tenant settlement, you can also set the indicator differently for each of them.

  • Indicator is set ('X')

    Parameters are active and can be used in the settlement.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')

    Parameters are not active and therefore cannot be used in the settlement.

    Example:
    You want to prevent certain parameters supplied in the standard system from being used, but you do not want to delete them. Possibly you used them in earlier settlements, or you are not sure if you might need them again.

Dependencies

If no default values are entered for the assessment adjustment based on the annual budget, then the system uses the allowed settlement parameters for the COA settlement as a replacement.
