Documentation
Definition
Specifies a percentage surcharge that differs from the surcharge schema. This percentage surcharge is applied to the settlement result during service charge settlement, dependent on how the indicators of the applicable surcharge schema are set.
Use
You can set the following indicators for each surcharge schema:
- Surcharge Dependent on Service Charge Key
- Surcharge Dependent on Usage Type
- Surcharge Dependent on Contract Type
If you want the system to impose a different percentage surcharge that is dependent on the service charge key, usage type or contract type, you can set these indicators accordingly. If you do so, and the Surcharge indicator is set at the same time, then you can enter the percentage surcharge here that you want the system to use.

You enter a value here, when setting up surcharges, only if you want to use a different percentage rather than the percentage defined for the surcharge schema The entry you make here is dependent on the service charge key, usage type or contract type.
