Definition
Basic components are measurements (usually areas or volumes) of the rental object. These measurements are used during external heating costs settlement for apportioning shares of fixed costs.
There are separate fields on the data carriers for:
- Heating
- Hot water
- Other
If only the basic component for heating is entered, this is normally used for all costs.
You can assign a basic component to a measurement type in Customizing. The data carriers then enter the measurement amount in the field for this basic component (as long as no contradictory settings were made on the settlement unit).
If you do not use external settlement of heating costs, you do not need to make any entries for basic components.
