Documentation

You use the cancellation schema to specify if and how the system calculates costs when someone cancels a reservation.
You specify rules for each cancellation schema in Customizing.

The following types of rules are available:

• Fixed Amount
• Percentage of Original Costs
  The amount is dependent on the costs of the reservation (but you can set an upper and lower limit on the amount).
• Price per Time
  The price is dependent on the duration of the original reservation (but you can set an upper and lower limit on the amount).

The cancellation fee can also be made dependent on the amount of time between the cancellation and the intended start date of the reservation.

The cancellation schema that the system uses is dependent on your settings in Customizing, and on the following factors:

• Reservation area
• Reservation object type
• Reservation type
• Internal or external reservation
