Documentation
Definition
Indicator specifying that the release code is relevant to workflow.
Use
SAP Business Workflow is a tool enabling you to automate the release process.
If employees to whom a workflow-relevant release code has been assigned are required to release (approve) a document, they see a work item in their integrated inbox. When they execute this work item, the release transaction is invoked and the document is offered for release or rejection.
Procedure
Set this indicator if the release code is relevant to workflow.
Then maintain the settings under Workflow. Here you assign an object from Organizational Management to the release code. When the workflow process takes place, the employees responsible will then be determined via role resolution.
