Definition
You can repeat an input tax distribution for all line items that have the status Option Rate Could Not Be Determined.
This indicator determines if the system considers line items that have this status.
A line item receives the status Option Rate Could Not Be Determined , if the following conditions are met:
- You set Display Warning Message in the assigned object type for this line item (in Customizing in the Make Basic Settings in Company Code IMG activity, in the Input Tax Distribution group box)
- The system is not able to determine the option rate for the assigned object.
Use
- Indicator is set (
'X'
)The input tax distribution selects only those line items that have the status Option Rate Could Not Be Determined. If the system is then still not able to determine the option rate, then the status remains unchanged.
If the system is able to determine the option rate, then the status is set to Distributed or Provisional Distribution (depending on the values of the other option rate parameters). - Indicator is not set (
' '
)Line items that have the status Option Rate Could Not Be Determined are not considered during input tax distribution.
Dependencies
Example
You were not able to perform input tax distribution for all line items, because there were some documents with account assignment to a CO object (order, WBS element, cost center) and these could not be assigned uniquely to a real estate object. Therefore you then assigned the CO object uniquely to a real estate object. Now you want to select all line items, for which the system was unable to determine the option rate, and run the input distribution again. You therefore set this indicator.
