This method is defaulted when you create a business entity.

Note

Exactly one method that has to be Useable for Superior Objects should have this indicator in Customizing.

If several methods have this indicator, the system defaults a (randomly selected) method when you create a business entity.
If the indicator is not set, you have to enter the option rate manually when you create a business entity.

The option rate method defaulted for buildings and land is the method of the superior business entity. The default method in Customizing for rental objects and contracts can be dependent on the usage type.
For settlement units, the system defaults the method that calculates according to the ratio of the apportionment units, if such a method exists.
