Documentation
Definition
For each company code, you have to specify in Customizing whether or not the company code opts to pay input tax.
If the company code opts to pay the tax, then the system can determine monthly option rates for real estate objects. The system can then break down documents using this option rate in a run that takes place before the input tax distribution. This applies to all documents that are assigned to these real estate objects, or documents that are linked to them by means of projects, orders or cost centers. As a result, only the share of deductible input tax, which corresponds to the option rate, remains on the input tax account.
