Documentation
Definition
Indicator to differentiate between an anchor rate (A) and a period rate (P).
An anchor rate indicates the rule valid for any specific period for option rate determination. The option rate is periodically determined for all key dates in that period according to this rule. This rule can be defined in the master data dialog of the particular object. Retroactive changes only affect periods in which no period rates exist.
A period rate indicates which option rate is automatically determined for a particular period (currently always a calendar month) and in which way, or which option rate has been determined according to the specifications of the anchor rate. It has no influence on the option rate of the next period. This rule cannot be defined in the master data dialog directly, but only displayed there. The option rate determination periodically determines the period rate according to the rule defined in the anchor rate.
