Definition

Specify if SAP Records Management is to be used for the object type.

Use

  • Indicator is set ('X')

    Records Management is used for document management.
    The system creates an electronic record for every rental real estate object of this object type (for example, real estate contract).
    If you choose @FT@ Document Management in the RE Navigator, then the Records Browser (transaction ORGANIZER) is displayed with the appropriate record.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')
    Records Management is not active when processing the object.
    If you choose @FT@ Document Management in the RE Navigator, then Business Document Navigator is displayed.

Dependencies

  • Records Management enables records to be managed on the basis of specific record models. Customizing in Records Management is necessary for this.
  • The Business Document Navigator does not require any additional Customizing.
