Definition
When you select master data objects based on validity, the system normally considers only the validity that is entered on the object itself. If the object is part of a hierarchy and has hierarchical relationships to other master data, then the system ignores the validity of the higher-level objects. However, if you want the system to consider the validity of these other objects, you can set this indicator.
If other objects in the hierarchy are considered, this can lead to longer response times.
